Pawtucket Day Child Development Center provides early care and
education to children from the age of 3 to 12 years.

Our Programs

Introducing MUSIC AND ART START, a unique program of enriched instruction in art and music that will lay a foundation for the ongoing development of music and art skills. Drawing on natural creative and musical instincts, the program engages children in tuneful singing, instrumental expression, attentive listening, and imaginative movement. Children will actively explore art and creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage and a variety of other activities. We are excited to introduce MUSIC AND ART START beginning in the fall of 2008.

Our Philosophy Our curriculum content, rich in gender, racial and ethnic diversity, encourages children to think, reason, question and experiment. Each child’s creativity and curiosity is encouraged. All children are respected as individuals and valued for their uniqueness. We institute a pre-planned curriculum with an emphasis on learning. Children’s lessons include literacy, math, science, music, dramatic play, language arts, problem solving, arts and crafts, health education, social awareness and free play.
